Use Siri to start games, add scores, and control timers hands-free — great when your hands are full of cards.

”Start a new game”Opens the new game form
”Resume my game”Opens your most recent game
”Open [game name]“Opens a specific game by name
”Add score”Adds points to a player (Siri prompts for details)

Each command recognizes multiple natural phrases:

  • New game: “New game in Keeping Score”, “Create a game”

  • Timer: “Start timer”, “Pause timer”

All commands are available as actions in the Shortcuts app. Combine them with other automations:

  • Start a game when you arrive at a friend’s house (location trigger)
  • Create a shortcut that opens your weekly poker game
  • Build a “game night” shortcut that sets up everything at once
  • Siri Shortcuts work with any Apple device that supports the Shortcuts app
  • The “Add score” command walks you through selecting the game and player
  • You can rename shortcuts to use your own trigger phrases
