Get up and running with Keeping Score! in just a few steps.
Create a Game
Section titled “Create a Game”- Open the app and tap the + button in the top right
- Enter a game title (or leave it blank for an auto-generated name)
- Add at least two players — type names or pick from your saved personas
- Tap the checkmark to start playing
Keep Score
Section titled “Keep Score”- Quick tap: Use the + and − buttons next to each player for fast score adjustments
- Calculator: Tap a player’s row to open the full calculator for expression-based scoring (e.g.,
15 + 3 × 2)
Finish a Game
Section titled “Finish a Game”- If you set an end condition (target score, total scored, or timer), the game finishes automatically when the condition is met
- To finish manually, open the game menu and tap Finish Game
- A confetti celebration marks the winner!
- Don’t overthink the setup — you can always start with the defaults and explore advanced options later
- Swipe left on a game in the list to delete it
- Use the filter bar to switch between All, Playing, and Finished games
- Long-press a game to pin it for quick access
