Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 21, 2026

Your scores. Your device. That's it.

Keeping Score is designed with privacy as a core principle. We don't collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data.

Data Collection

We collect nothing. No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reports, no usage data. The app does not contain any tracking code, advertising SDKs, or third-party analytics services.

Data Storage

All your game data — scores, player profiles, game history — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync.

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your game data is synced through Apple's iCloud infrastructure using CloudKit. This data is stored in your iCloud account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Network Access

Keeping Score does not require an internet connection. The app works fully offline. The only network activity occurs if you have iCloud sync enabled, which is managed entirely by iOS.

AirPlay

When you use AirPlay, the leaderboard view is sent to your TV over your local network using Apple's AirPlay protocol. No game data is sent to any external server.

Third-Party Services

Keeping Score uses no third-party services. No ads, no analytics, no social login, no crash reporting tools. The app is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks.

Children's Privacy

Keeping Score does not collect any data from anyone, including children. Kids Mode contains no ads, no in-app purchases, and no internet connectivity requirements.

Changes

If we make changes to this policy, we will update this page with the new date. Since we collect no data, there is little reason for this policy to change.
