Overview
Section titled “Overview”Keeping Score! is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.
Data Collection
Section titled “Data Collection”Keeping Score! collects no data. Specifically:
- No analytics or tracking
- No advertising identifiers
- No crash reporting to third parties
- No user accounts or authentication
- No network requests (except iCloud sync)
Data Storage
Section titled “Data Storage”All your data (games, scores, players, personas) is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. If you have iCloud enabled, your data syncs privately through your personal iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit.
iCloud Sync
Section titled “iCloud Sync”When iCloud is enabled on your device, Keeping Score! uses Apple’s CloudKit to sync your data across your devices. This data is:
- Encrypted in transit and at rest
- Stored in your personal iCloud account
- Not accessible to us or any third party
- Subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy
Third-Party Services
Section titled “Third-Party Services”Keeping Score! uses no third-party services, SDKs, or frameworks. The entire app is built exclusively with Apple’s own frameworks.
Children’s Privacy
Section titled “Children’s Privacy”Keeping Score! does not collect any data from any user, including children. The Kids Mode feature is simply a simplified interface — it does not change how (or whether) data is collected.
